Kittens made friends again
I just finished a photo shoot with one of my friends daughters who is going to be auditioning with a ballet company this weekend. They love my kittens! The kittens seem to like them too!

Garden Update!
My paperwhites have finally bloomed!!!
Does this mean it's spring? Cause I'm ready for summer, and I'm pretty sure San Diego is too, since we are already having 76 degree days!

Showered
Mrs. Kristina Katarina Johnstone is about to become Mommy! She is due (technically) on January 31st, but we're pretty much expecting her daughter to arrive any day now.
It was just nine months (to the day today!) that she got married, and her husband, Trace, is just thrilled!
So I thought you might like to virtually join the baby showers!
Kati's mother and aunt and generations back are from Finland. Her aunt got this for the newest Finish generation:
Kati had originally planned to decorate the cake herself. Due to 80 degree weather, a last minute shopping trip to replace the sweater and pants she was planning to wear made her *a bit* late, and so at 3:20 she asked me to decorate the cake. Turns out cake design is not my specialty! I will stick with flowers, interior decorating and photography, thank you!
Even the sky turned pink for Kati's shower!
Then there was the shower at Church:
OK, Kirsiella, we're ready for you to make your grand entrance into the world!

The last moments of 2009. It started in Temecula...
Cheers to the New Year!
Hmmmm. Not my cup of tea.
We then proceded to take the bull by the horns and ride the mechanical bull. (These next pics are especially for you, Janitha!)
Crystal did ok. She got injured! She tore a nail and got a bruise. Poor Crystal!
Margo stayed on the whole first ride! Second, well, at least she fell off with grace and style.
My turn, and I didn't fall off the first ride. I had made the mistake of telling the lady I had lived in Texas, so she sped it up a bit. I didn't last as long that time!
