I couldn't help smiling!

My Grandpa made it over to my new home!!!! I was so excited!

And there he sat. He said I did good! Woo hoo!!! I like it when relatives visit. They add to the charm of my home! Of course, he wouldn't let me cook dinner for him. Said I would poison him. Well.... Nah!!!

Margo's mother has an amazing green thumb, and graced me with a bag full of green tomatoes, as well as a few red ones.

What's a girl to do but make FRIED GREEN TOMATOES!!!!! Yum, yum, yum!!!

And a salad. Nice little thursday treat! Margo shared with me, and so the excellent company made dinner that much nicer.

Another new home

 

Kati and Trace bought a new home, in keeping with the "quick, everyone buy a new home while things are still cheap!" philosophy of San Diego and all of Southern California.

 

Of course, it is a foreclosure, which means it starts out looking aweful, but with friends, family and elbow grease becomes beautiful and awesome.

 

They are still in the elbow grease stage, but it's coming along.

 

The dark red walls took a few coats of primer. Good times~
