Now, what's a good trip down the river if you don't get wet? So I "accidentally" fell out. It took a bit of doing, but I managed it!

My river guide, who is also from Colorado, finally gave in to my pleading to be able to drive the boat, since it was my birthday and all. So that's him with his hands up. "Look, ma, no hands!" That's cause he's not supposed to let customers row. We were just supposed to sit back and enjoy the scenery. I just had to give it a shot, though. Apparently I did well. I was told I could "read the water really well."
