Somehow I ended up getting talked into running a 5 K again.
It says "Save Second Base!"
(great spin-off of Save the Ta-Ta's)
By the time I came to Mile 1, I was shocked that I was still running!!!
No breaks for me!!!
So I kept running! I figured that by mile 2 I would need a break, but it was the perfect temperature outside, and with just enough sweat to keep me cool, I was good!
It was cool running around Balboa Park, and way cool to run on the freeway.

By Mile 2, I hadn't slowed down, but when I got to the base of the hill, I let up a bit, walking fast. So for you crazy runner friends out there, how do you not get your thighs chaffed??? (I mean, besides the obvious, "get skinny so your fat thighs don't rub together" and "wear longer shorts!:) :)
