Trying someplace new

Crystal and I checked out a New Orleans style place I had had my eye on for quite some time. I had driven by a few times, and either it was too busy, or I was too busy.
But last week we finally decided to go in and see how it was. They specialized in Watermelon wine, which was interesting. I am still not sure how I liked it.
I ordered the "MudBug Salad" which did the trick, but really, the fried pickles were the best part of the meal.
As you can see by the menu, there were a lot of great options.
The decor was idealic, and we both agreed we would have to frequent the place again.
By the time we were wrapping up our dinner, the blues/jazz band has started up, and they were soulful!
We could have spent all evening there. We had other things to do though. Crystal had not been up to Mt. Soledad in forever, so up we went.
She had forgotten how great the view was from up there. So had I!
I showed off a little, pointing out each of my grandfather's plaques with honor. (side note, I couldn't find grandpa Steins though... was it moved?)
Anyhow, the day was great, and as always, it was a last to get to hang out with my friend!

Next visit...I wanna go there for a NO fix.

Grandpa Stein is in the same place. Trust me!
