After a long hike, it felt good to sit down in front of a fire...
...and then head off to bed in my tent....
...to wake up to a beautiful (but really cold) sunrise....
...and the start of a New Year!!! Welcome, 2012!

I will have to ask you where you were camping and hiking....kinda looks like the dessert and the dessert can be very cold at night and dawn in the winter time. We did some camping there in our tent trailer when your Mom was young. Love, Gr-mom D.
