Ode to Annie

Annie, my grandparents orphan cat, was put down yesterday. She was certainly beautiful. Rufus will miss having someone else to bully around. I wish I could say she was a sweetheart, but she only loved my grandma. Everyone else got kittie cussing from her.
Just thinking of you Grandma. I love you much!

Oh, I can see that wicked twinkle in Annie's eyes. smile

That is sad when a cat who has been 'family' is gone. I offer my most sincere sympathy!!

But on a fun note!! I have a favor to ask of you, Laura !!
Your mother gave me a gift -- a spacesuit being held for me in Houston until the next space flight. I am to be on that flight to post my outerspace experienes. But I told your mom I would only accept the offer if you would go with me. I know you are much braver than I and I would need someone strong to hold on to !!
So forget the jumping out of a plane...I'm going all the way up!!
What do you say? Are you game to come along??

Hi Laura, thanks for your comment on my blog and for agreeing to come 'fly with me'.
In space I don't think it will matter if you are a little taller than me -- I will just float up a little higher until we are at eye level!!!

You know what's neat ?? If we don't 'fly' in man made space ships we WILL meet in the sky when Jesus comes back !! And I don't think that is too far in the future!
That is one time we will NOT be 'directionally' challenged!!

What joy that will be!!

PS. I love your Mom -- she is a special lady and you are blessed to call her Mom!
