Memories

I forgot to load my pictures from the past week, the camera is in the car, and it rained. Yes, RAIN IN CALIFORNIA!!! So rather than risk getting wet (you should only get wet from the toes going up, not the other way around....water in meant to get into, not to have fall on your head!) I decided that this weather reminded me of when I was living in Hawaii.
How beautiful the leis were. I had no idea before I moved there how many types of leis there were. I assumed there were only orchid and pulmaria. Nope. Dad is wearing a white and red ginger lei (anyone else now have a soothing song playing in their mind's ear?) and the other one is make of kukui nuts, leaves and I have forgotten what the orange and brown were made of. Very cool though.
That was such a happy time in life. So many beautiful sights. So many people do not know there is a grand canyon in Hawaii.
And what else is there to do in a cave? Cave yoga of course!!!
Warrior poses!
I think my mom is actually doing a "princess pose." I guess I could be kind enough to call it Warrior Princess modification. Love you Mom!!! You look fabulous!!!
It's good to be me even though I am not in Hawaii, it feels like it today!

How nice to have memories of Hawaii. One of these days, I'm going to convince Doc to take me!

The family poses are so cute!
