I went ahead and made dinner for my grandpa and brought it over to him to celebrate his birthday a little early.
I made a tortellini with grilled chicken and spinach, squash, sauted asparagus, and rolls.
Poor grandpa had just had surgery on some blasted skin cancer, so wasn't feeling too hot. We were going to go watch the SDSU vs University of Utah game as his present, but the weather was cold, rainy, and he just wasn't up to it.
Instead, we had dinner together, and Grandma made strawberry cake for dessert and we listened to the game on the radio together. It was a nice evening, even though the Aztecs lost. Ah well. Good thing we hadn't gone and sat in the cold rain just to see them loose!
