SHOPPING!!!!

The day after Halloween, Crystal and I went shopping with Crystal's friend, Crystal. I still can't believe how much stuff we bought! We completely filled up the trunk of her car!
Then we brought it all inside to divy up whose was whose.
Admittedly, it was quite the Argyle day. Lots and lots of beautiful clothes! And jewelry!
And shoes! Did I mention the shoes?!?!?!
When all was said and done, we made piles of each of our clothes. Women, you will appreciate this next part.
The other Crystal's sister works at this store. We went to the Outlet of this store. It was having 70-80% off, with an additional 10-15% off this weekend only.
And then, on top of that saving, we got 40% off the totals due to "employee discount." Look how long our reciepts were!!! (Grandpa D, you will appreciate this!) We SAVED $2,840!!!!!
Grand total spent: ~$600 between all of us, only ~150 was mine.
Can you believe it?!?!!

Halloween, the delayed shots

A few months ago, I was shopping and saw these: ....and simply had to have them. Not my everyday shoe, but makes this outfit perfect!!!
I was Commando Army Chick. Crystal, my dear friend, was Rich Rebel School Girl.
I had non-government issue tatoos too!!!
I won't tell you where they were.
I also carried a non-governement issued AK-47, specifically not painted due to the warning on the label, which stated that I could have military/police issues with any altering of color. Neon green and orange it was!
Crystal's boyfriend met us at the winery up in Temecula where we spent the evening having a blast!
Yes, good times! Not that I'm not tall already, but those shoes! Wow, was I tall!!!
Happy Halloween!!! Definately!

The Game

I got to go to the Chargers VS Patriots game!!! I think I probably took about 250 pictures of my alltime favorite QUARTERBACK!!! (Ok, so in the first picture he is standing by my favorite replacement quarterback, Volek) Rivers, with his buddy Gates.
Pose for me, Rivers! Mmmm, mmm, mmm!!!!
I had to get a pic of our favorite Utah player too, Weddle rocks!!!
I will post more pics of my favorite QB and his nice tight rear-end later. For now, these will have to pacify. Yes, we lost, but it was a heckofa game!

I had bought these lamb steaks the other night, and when I opened the package, I was delighted to see this: Cute little heart!
I guess you are what you eat?

Autumn colors

Things around here have been excedingly focused on papers and more papers. Occasionally there is reading involved. The once hot sun has turned a little chilly, and so I write in my oh-so-not-sexy PLNU sweatpants and UM shirt over a mug of tea oftentimes. I have started to notice the change in the colors. Well. Ok. So there aren't any color changes here in San Diego. There is, however, a nice view of the orange colors. And he loves to be admired.

He and the other one are probably the #1 reason I have so much trouble getting papers done.

Ballgame

I finally made it to a baseball game. FINALLY!!!! Did we win? Common. It's the Padres. Of course not. Did I have fun? Yes! One of my friends from childhood, who moved to South Dakota, was in town, so we got to go catch a game, get caught up on life in South Dakota, how his wife and baby are doing, what school is like, and all that good stuff.
I got a Padres hat, he got a Padres shirt, but we lost anyhow. Ah, well. Good times were had! Thanks, Eric! (nice smile.)

Girl's Movie Night Sept. 30th, 2010

I spruced up the house for Girls Movie Night, which was hosted by me this month. I had the flowers on the table, but Cessa thought they were delicious, and so they were moved. I decided on tacos, choice of chicken or beef, with homemade guacamole and salsa.
I set the table with Grandma's Mexican dishes, which everyone ranted and raved over. Thank you Grandma D!!!!
Then the house was suddenly infested with babies! Emma, who is now 2 months old...
...and Kirsiella, who is 7 months old now, and a super ham in front of the camera!
With all the girls holding their baby girl, I felt a little left out, until I realized I had my own baby girl...kitty!!!! Photo opp!!!!

Girl's Movie night was a smashing success! We watched the 1980's "Top Secret" and laughed at how young Val Kilm*r looked. It's good to be one of the girls!
