It was a very cold, grey day for the majority of the time, but when the sun finally made it's debut, we grabbed our boards and headed out to catch some waves. 
The biggest wave was probably only about 2 feet, but they were fun. The pregnant people stayed put, putting her belly to good use!

Dave, Lauren's husband, had made a mouthwatering lemon sponge cake with strawberries layered cake.
We finally got the candles lit and quickly made wishes and blew them out.
