I had the parents coming into town for Thanksgiving, and I was hosting this year! So, quick like a bunny, I made out my list-of-things-to-do to get ready during the ridiculously cold weekend preceding their arrival.
Do you see the first thing on that list? The one that is crossed off? Yup!!! I finished my paper!
My reward? Clam chowder in a bread bowl! Perfect treat on a rainy day, don't you think?

Rainy days and clam chowder, or for me, tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches. Soup IS good food!
